Yes, it's all about me. Me, me, me. But it it's my website, so that's cool. :)
Seriously, I've always shunned self-publicising and promotion. I have worked almost exclusively through agents in the past which helped me remain relatively anonymous online. But things change. My activities with books and music are hard to hide, and it's probably not worth writing books unless I actually get someone to read them!
So, a website, OK. But not Facebook yet, and I'm not a tweeter. Alright, that might change - especially if an agent says they'll look after it for me, so my millions of fans can connect (yeah, right!) - so never say never.
Books and Films and Radio and Music are all relatively new things in my life. For a long time I was just an IT guy (see my experience page), doing well - well enough to relocate to the south of France - but having no time for anything else. But, triggered by a significant upheaval in my personal life, I have slowly come to realise that there's more to life than working all the time. I now work a lot less than I used to, and earn a lot less, but I'm a lot happier and a lot less stressed too.
As my father says, this life isn't a dress-rehearsal. You're only here once. Make the most of it.
No egos have been harmed in the making of this website.
